A Butt Joint is formed by bringing the belt ends together edge to edge, then bonding them using a top strap or back strap. This produces an exceptionally smooth and seamless surface, ideal for product transfer. The joint is sealed using a high-temperature iron or lightweight press to melt and fuse the materials securely.
A joint like this will require a high temperature iron or light weight press to seal as the material used to join the belt needs melting together.
